From Professional Certification to Stable Residency: The Future of the Global Care Workforce Begins at Changshin University
The Changshin University Affiliated Caregiver Training Center, officially designated by the Gyeongsangnam-do provincial government, systematically operates the theoretical and practical courses required to obtain the Caregiver certification. With a professional faculty of university professors and fully equipped training facilities, we are committed to cultivating highly qualified caregivers to meet the growing demand for care professionals in the Changwon and Gyeongnam region. In August 2025, our university was officially selected as a designated university for the government-led program to train foreign Caregivers, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Students admitted to the Department of Social Welfare, the dedicated department for this program, can simultaneously acquire both the Caregiver certification and a Level-2 Social Worker certification. This dual qualification makes them highly sought-after for employment in elderly care facilities upon graduation.
Graduates will be able to obtain the E-7 professional employment visa, allowing them to reside stably within the local community.
